Beef Orders

Pastured Chicken Now Available
Whole frozen chicken is now available for pickup at the farm. Price is $4/lb and the weigh approx 4-6lb each and come vac packed like our beef.

You can’t compare the taste of pastured poultry to what you get at the store. It’s like the difference between a homegrown tomato and one from the store.

They won't last long so get them while they're here!

Grass Fed Lambs Ready at the end of October
There’s a farmer up the road from us who raises grass fed lamb. He recently asked me if any of our beef customers would be interested in purchasing lamb. They will be ready at the end of October and cost $4/lb (hanging). Usually lamb weighs approx 50-60lbs hanging, which will give you approx 25-35lb of packaged meat. Being Australian, I am certainly looking forward to trying it. (By the way, just ask me for the secret to cooking the perfect lamb roast).

Flying S Beef Now Available For Pick Up in Chicago
Recently, Flying S has partnered with a co-op called Moo Grass Farms (see their website at www.moograssfarms.com) which is based in the Chicago area. They had been searching for a grass fed beef supplier for quite a while when they luckily came across our website. After sampling our beef and inspecting our herd, they now plan to make regular trips to collect beef to bring back to their Chicago customers.

If you (or someone you know) live in or near Chicago, you can pick up your half or quarter order from the co-op freezer in Wheaton, IL. Simply place your order with Flying S and add 15% to the total price of the beef to cover the shipping costs (example: $500 for beef quarter + $75 for shipping = $575). We hope you'll agree that this is a great way to save gas, time and money.
